About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Outpatient Concierge Medicine clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with performing screening and treatments, collecting specimens, and documenting patient care.
  • Update health maintenance at patient visits, accurately identify medication changes, and update allergy information at each visit.
  • Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
  • Administer specific medications under the direction of a provider.
  • Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain examination areas.
  • Assist in pre-visit planning by updating the health maintenance tab.
  • Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient communication.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
  • Military training as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W), or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will be considered.
  • Current demonstrated clinical proficiency with phlebotomy required.
  • Proficiency in EKG desired.

Work Environment

The Medical Assistant will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of passionate and dedicated caregivers. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The work environment is light, with occasional standing, walking, or sitting. Manual dexterity is required to operate office equipment. Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision is necessary.
