We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Materials Technician to join our team at Bunnell-Lammons Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of construction materials on various projects.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and test construction materials, including concrete, soil, and other site materials.
- Monitor general contractor activities and report on site observations.
- Prepare daily reports for submission to project engineers, including test results and construction site observations.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete scheduled tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, clients, and authorities.
- High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
- Valid Driver's License with Clean Motor Vehicle Driving history (3 years)
- Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Effective communication and writing skills
- Basic knowledge of smartphones and computers for communication and record keeping
- ACI certification
- NICET certification
- ICC certification (Soils Inspector, Reinforced Concrete, Masonry Special Inspector)
