Certified Peer Support Specialist

We are seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to provide Peer Support Services in the Gastonia Area.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, flexible, and open-minded, with a passion for working with adults to keep them in the community.
As a Peer Support Services Coordinator, you will work with adults with chronic/severe and persistent mental health issues, assisting them in transitioning back into the community and supporting them in maintaining their housing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Peer Support Services to adults in the community
- Assist clients in developing and implementing individualized service plans
- Collaborate with other service providers to ensure comprehensive support
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Community Based: 2 years (Required)
- CPSS Certification (Required)
