Job Title: HR Coordinator

At Dollar Tree, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. As an integral part of our Human Resources Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our associates with HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and hire top talent for our Distribution Centers
  • Manage internal job openings, job files, and candidate reviews
  • Coordinate pre-employment drug testing and new hire paperwork
  • Assist with initial phone screens and scheduling candidates for orientations
  • Perform data entry and HR system changes
  • Monitor Kronos timekeeping and payroll
  • Engage with associates on the floor and support retention efforts
  • Provide administrative backup to the General Manager's Administrative Assistant
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Three years of administrative office experience with knowledge of Distribution Center practices and procedures
  • Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Internet
  • Strong focus on customer service and previous Human Resources experience preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and work under pressure
  • Data entry and review experience with strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including composition and grammar skills
  • Kronos experience or another payroll database similar to Kronos highly preferred
