Medical Specimen Collector

Synectics Inc is seeking a skilled Medical Specimen Collector to join our team. As a Patient Services Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
- Collect and process medical specimens from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of specimens, maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
- Collaborate with the laboratory team to resolve any issues or concerns related to specimen collection and processing.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory procedures and technologies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
- Medical training or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a laboratory or healthcare setting.
- One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience required.
