Job Title: Critical Care RN Travel

Maxonic is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Critical Care RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of acute care experience and a strong background in critical care nursing. They will be responsible for assessing patient physical and psychosocial condition, formulating a nursing diagnosis, and developing a care plan in collaboration with the patient and interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be proficient in the use of manual and automated information systems to improve efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assess patient physical and psychosocial condition on an ongoing basis and formulate a nursing diagnosis.
  2. Develop a care plan in collaboration with the patient and interdisciplinary team.
  3. Provide high-quality care to patients, including administering medications, performing skills, and educating patients and families.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • Current CA RN license.
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • NIHSS certification.
  • Minimum three years of acute care experience.
  • Associate Degree or BSN accepted.
