We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and providing care to patients across the continuum of care, in conjunction with other healthcare professionals.
- Serve as a resource person to support pharmacy personnel and other healthcare professionals in designated areas.
- Assist in designing and coordinating clinical pharmacy services.
- Assist in training pharmacy staff.
- Monitor and manage drug therapy in designated patient populations.
- Develop care plans and guidelines to include drug, devices, and delivery modalities.
Requirements
- Doctorate of Pharmacy degree required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Licensed as a pharmacist in the state of Mississippi.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable health system pharmacy.
