As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will be at the forefront of patient communications, developing relationships with customers and advocating for their wellbeing. You will be empowered to share your clinical knowledge and work to the top of your license, creating moments of care and making a positive impact on the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling on health care and prescription medication needs, and maintaining confidential information.
- Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs are successfully resolved.
- Use tools, data, and personal conversations to understand the community and common concerns, staying up-to-date on emergent and urgent health issues.
- Collaborate with others to improve patient care, safety, and accuracy, ensuring counseling occurs on new therapy and as requested by patients or required by practice or state regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
