Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the coordination and execution of program initiatives aimed at student success.
  • Develop and maintain digital documents and spreadsheets to track program activities.
  • Welcome and guide students to appropriate resources and services.
  • Oversee inventory management for office supplies and student resources.
  • Assist in the operation of technology loan programs for students.

  • Procure and maintain necessary office and student supplies.
  • Ensure electronic files related to coaching services are current and organized.
  • Support budget tracking and financial record-keeping.

The Administrative Support Specialist will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing data on student interactions and success strategies, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the college's support services.

Additional Duties

May be assigned other responsibilities as necessary. The role may also involve assisting state agencies during emergency situations as declared by authorities.

  • Strong communication skills, particularly in active listening.
  • Ability to handle student grievances with professionalism.
  • Confidence in setting professional boundaries when necessary.
  • Dependability and accountability in professional conduct.
  • Strong written communication skills as evidenced in application materials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a higher education environment.
  • Familiarity with student information systems.

Travel Requirements

Local, regional, and state travel may be necessary.
