Position Summary:
The role of the Customer Service Associate is available in both full-time and part-time capacities, with compensation structured on an hourly basis, tailored to the operational needs of the business.
As a key holder, the Customer Service Associate assumes the responsibilities of the manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring smooth operations and superior guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Monro's comprehensive training program to effectively implement the Monro sales approach.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, both in-person and via phone.
- Engage with guests to schedule appointments, build rapport, and assess their needs while clearly communicating service processes and timelines.
- Assist in various guest care tasks, including work order management, register support, and facility upkeep, under management guidance.
- Execute essential opening and closing duties as a secondary key carrier.
- Adhere to all financial policies regarding cash, credit, and refunds, collaborating with management to address guest service challenges and opportunities.
- Effectively communicate the full range of products and services offered by Monro to guests.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, governmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment in partnership with management.
- Ensure a clean and organized guest waiting area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills are essential for writing accurate sales work orders and explaining services to guests.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities are necessary.
Work Environment:
This position operates within an automotive shop setting, which may involve exposure to moderate noise levels, various weather conditions, and common automotive shop elements.
