Position Overview

The Lead Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. This position requires a blend of advanced accounting skills and strategic insight to ensure precise financial reporting and to drive the success of our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the complete accounting process, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement) to the corporate finance team.
  • Assist in the creation of machinery quotes, sales orders, vendor billing, customer invoicing, and related treasury functions.
  • Collaborate closely with management and internal teams on a daily basis.
  • Ensure effective internal controls are established and maintained.
  • Work alongside the corporate finance team on all financial, budgeting, and auditing responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with the corporate finance team.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the specific ERP software utilized within the machinery sector.
  • Establish, develop, and implement key performance indicators and analytics to support senior management.
  • Be a proactive team member willing to assist in various capacities to enhance the Machinery Business Unit.
  • Analyze financial data to uncover trends and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational enhancements.
  • Engage in strategic planning discussions as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting capacity.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with SAP or Oracle NetSuite is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is desired.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
