Job Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor is a key member of our team at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, responsible for overseeing the clinical aspects of treatment for patients. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Ensure that all supervision hours meet the required standards of treatment adherence.
- Evaluate patients to identify skill deficits and strengths, and develop functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with caregivers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians to ensure high-quality treatment implementation.
- Monitor treatment integrity and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in ABA treatment to ensure clinical excellence.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
- Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Work Environment:
Treatment may occur in a variety of settings, including the patient's home, the CARD center, the patient's school, the community, or via telehealth. Clinical Supervisors work in environments that are both indoors and outdoors and may move between different locations throughout the course of the workday.
Physical Requirements:
Clinical Supervisors must be able to work with patients who are seated on the floor, in small chairs, or other home, school, community, and clinic environments. They must also be able to move frequently throughout the therapeutic setting to gather materials, anticipate and respond to the movement of a patient, and/or provide instruction in a variety of settings.
