Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Madera County, CA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and administer occupational therapy services for eligible patients.
  • Perform and plan occupational therapy treatments, consulting with physicians and supervisors as needed.
  • Instruct patients and caregivers on appropriate exercises and activities.
  • Coordinate, teach, and supervise functional exercises.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in occupational therapy, physical therapy, kinesiology, or a closely related field.
  • Possession and maintenance of a valid license to practice as a Registered Occupational Therapist in the State of California.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain by the time of appointment, an appropriate California driver's license.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, and maintain a valid CPR certificate.
Working Conditions:

Employees work in an office and clinic environment with moderate noise levels and variable temperature conditions. Employees may interact with upset staff and/or public and private representatives in interpreting and enforcing departmental policies and procedures.

Employees must be willing to travel to different sites and locations.
