Job Opportunity at Big Rock Sports

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Account Manager to join our sales team in Western Wisconsin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with our customers, and promoting our products.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of freshwater and ice fishing, as well as experience in the hunting industry. You will be responsible for visiting dealers at least once a month, working closely with our Merchant Team to maximize assortments, and forecasting key SKUs for seasonal fisheries and hunting seasons in your territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer base
  • Promote company programs and agendas
  • Drive Big Rock's Owned Brands as a manufacturer rep
  • Manage customer needs (shipping, pricing, returns, etc.)
  • First to market with new SKU's, vendors, etc.
  • Write and submit orders
  • Present endcaps, promotions, flyers, etc.
  • Promote closeouts and opportunity buys to Customer
  • Create a Business Plan to gain Market Share from Competition

Requirements:

  • Capable of forming solutions with customers in all situations
  • In-depth knowledge of and passion for the fishing and hunting categories
  • Proficient in MS Office, email, learning new software applications, and leveraging technology to drive the business
  • Strong customer focus, high energy, a professional demeanor, integrity, and a high degree of flexibility, and responsiveness
  • Excellent internal and external relationship-building skills, coupled with an ability to adapt and optimize communication style, as necessary to achieve desired results
  • A self-motivated and self-directed personality with a strong team orientation, who can succeed working independently in the field
  • Business savvy, creativity, and the ability to sell, influence and negotiate in a professional manner
  • Valid Driver's License, insurance, and reliable vehicle required
  • Willingness and ability to sustain a daily travel schedule to effectively manage the territory with periodic overnights as required
  • Strong attention to detail including accurate data entry and mathematical computation skills

Compensation and Benefits:

100% Commission Based

Estimated Annual Salary: $70,000 - $90,000+
