Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team at Hotel Sutter. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take drink orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons
  • Restock and clean the bar area, including glassware and inventory management
  • Verify customer identification and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Manage customer checks and tabs, and record daily sales totals
  • Assist with serving dining room tables, bar tables, and outdoor front sidewalk tables as needed
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a bartending role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and team members
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service
