Job Title: Restaurant Bartender

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Restaurant Bartender to join our team at Hotel Sutter. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Take orders and deliver a variety of beverages, including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks.
  • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties, including opening and closing side work as instructed.
  • Verify customers' age and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that all customer checks and tabs are paid, and record daily sales totals in the point of sale system.
  • Responsible for inventory, ordering, and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer, as well as maintaining an inventory of glassware and communicating any shortages to management.
Qualifications:
  • 6 months or more of previous bar experience, with serving experience a plus.
  • Some experience working in the food service industry is preferred.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members.
  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification.
  • A strong focus on putting the patron first with exceptional customer service experience.
