Restaurant Mixologist

Job Summary

Hotel Sutter is seeking a skilled and charismatic Beverage Specialist to join our team. As a Bar Service Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take orders and deliver a variety of beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks to patrons in a timely and efficient manner.
• Restock and maintain the bar area to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for our guests.
• Verify identification and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Manage customer checks and tabs and record daily sales totals in our point of sale system.
• Order and maintain inventory of wine, liquor, and beer, and communicate any shortages to management.

Requirements:

• 6 months or more of previous bar experience with a focus on customer service and beverage preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple orders and tasks simultaneously.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED certification and a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.
