Position Overview:
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about educating and mentoring future medical assistants. As a Medical Assistant Training Facilitator, you will have the opportunity to impart your knowledge and practical skills to students during their training and externship experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and assess daily lesson plans tailored to student needs and the established curriculum.
- Design instructional strategies to meet specific learning objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing necessary support to enhance their learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades, ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
- Coordinate and arrange guest lectures, community service activities, and site visits to healthcare facilities.
- Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on demonstrations to facilitate student learning.
- Provide guidance and support to students navigating the Medical Assistant program.
- Assist with inventory management and procurement of educational supplies and equipment.
- Facilitate externship opportunities for Medical Assistant students.
- Supervise students in the classroom, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or equivalent training.
- Alternatively, a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in the field for those without formal accreditation.
- At least three (3) years of practical experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Current certification or registration as a medical assistant from a nationally recognized certifying body (CMA or RMA).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and general computer skills.
