Acute Care Nurse Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team at Levindale Hospital's Brain Health Unit. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Nurse Manager in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, promoting a positive patient experience, and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Assume 24/7 accountability for improving and sustaining positive patient outcomes, patient experience, and staff engagement.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and satisfaction.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Maintain basic nursing skills and competencies required for the specialty.
- Assume full oversight and responsibilities for the assigned unit in the absence of the Nurse Manager.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in acute care nursing.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months (if applicable).
