Acute Care Nurse Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team at Levindale Hospital's Brain Health Unit. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Nurse Manager in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, promoting a positive work environment, and driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Assist the Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the nursing staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and promote a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards of care that align with the hospital's mission and values.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in acute care nursing, with a focus on leadership and management.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months (if applicable).
