LifeBridge Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Manager to lead our Brain Health Unit on the skilled hospital side of our facility.
The Brain Health Unit is a 40-bed unit that provides comprehensive care to patients with medical and psychological diagnoses. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and creating a supportive environment for our patients and their families.
As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, age-appropriate patient care. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our unit is running efficiently and effectively, and that we are meeting our quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leadership: Provide overall direction and coordination of area operations
- Fiscal Management: Participate in the budget process and monitor/ correct budget variances
- Clinical Management: Assist in providing overall direction and coordination of area operations
- Clinical Competency: Demonstrate proficiency with basic core competencies
- Quality Assessment: Establish and implement systems to monitor and improve key clinical and financial indicators
- Compliance: Ensure that nursing staff carries out patient care according to regulatory standards
Requirements for this role include:
- BSN preferred; Bachelor's of Nursing, preferred; BSN's from CCNE accredited schools
- 5-7 years related experience
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Applicable Specialty Certifications Preferred
