Warehouse Supply Chain Coordinator

As a Warehouse Supply Chain Specialist with the U.S. Army Recruiting - Albany Battalion, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. Your responsibilities will include supervising and maintaining all Army supplies and equipment, receiving, inspecting, inventorying, loading and unloading, storing, issuing, and delivering supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment
- Develop and implement efficient supply chain processes to minimize costs and maximize productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues and improve overall performance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices. You will also need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Job training for this position requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and eight weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instructions. Part of this time is spent in the classroom, and part takes place in the field, including practice in handling and storing stock.
