Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Marjaree Mason Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, ensuring compliance with government safety standards, and managing information technology functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and direct maintenance and repair activities, including new construction, painting, and ground maintenance.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program, and plan and implement new methods and procedures to improve maintenance operations.
  • Supervise and train staff and volunteers to ensure maximum efficiency, accuracy, and safety of work.
  • Ensure facilities are clean and present an attractive appearance, and manage supply orders.
  • Monitor and recommend systems and procedures to ensure the security of all facilities, and ensure compliance with OSHA health and safety practices.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Three years of related experience in maintenance and repair, computer/telecommunications, and safety, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience supervising staff or volunteers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.
  • General understanding of basic electrical, plumbing, maintenance, and repair.
Working Conditions

The employee will frequently work in outside weather conditions and occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places.
