Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the operation of our Water Facilities department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management and be able to lead a team of up to 35 employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise the production department lines under the guidance of the Department Manager.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to employees to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Verify and control production parameters to ensure they are within budget.
  • Act as a liaison between Department Managers and Hourly Employees, resolving conflicts and addressing issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Responsible for scheduling work assignments, vacations, and days off for Hourly Employees.
  • Verify labor hours and payroll report accuracy.
  • Conduct monthly safety and quality sessions, documenting records and ensuring compliance with safety policies and regulations.
  • Accountable for enforcing safety rules and policies, as well as drug control policy.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of production experience in a manufacturing plant, with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience or 4 years as a Lead in production.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is required, and experience with regulatory inspections, Quality Systems, and Good Manufacturing Practices is a plus.
