Job Summary

Amphenol Printed Circuits seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist II to join our team. This role is responsible for reviewing and disposing of PWB defects, processing RMA's and RVA's, and maintaining technical knowledge of acceptable PWB rework methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and disposition PWB defects in accordance with IPC A 600
  • Maintain technical knowledge of acceptable PWB rework methods and assist in performing rework on PWB's as needed
  • Create presentations in PowerPoint on large scrap or rework events and share with process owners
  • Process RMA's and RVA's through Paradigm floor control system
  • Review customer complaints and verify accuracy of reported failure
  • Inspect RMA's/RVA's prior to processing
  • Coordinate with Process Engineering to define rework routing
  • This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends
  • Follows established safety procedures
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
  • Candidate must be able to be flexible and will be required to meet departmental goals and to insure on time delivery is met
  • Travel may be required for training and customer needs
Requirements
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three years related Quality inspection experience
  • Must be able to use a computer to maintain records, develop reports, and analyze data and document discrepancies as well as using a computer to perform all other related aspects of the position
  • Certification training in IPC A600 (Printed Wiring Boards) and IPC A610 (Electronic Assemblies) is preferred
