We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Pediatric Ear, Nose & Throat of Atlanta, P.C.
Job Summary:The Certified Medical Assistant will provide exceptional patient care and support to our medical team in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with examinations, treatments, and surgeries, maintaining a sterile environment.
- Take vital signs, record medical histories, and administer medications as directed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing medical supplies.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) preferred.
- Valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Work in a clinical setting, with frequent exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
- Wear protective equipment, such as gloves and masks, as required.
- Work in a team environment, with regular communication and collaboration with medical staff.
