Job Title: Medical Assistant

At Dermatology Solutions Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will provide exceptional patient care and support to our medical providers, ensuring a positive patient experience and delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist medical providers with day-to-day delivery of healthcare and patient care management
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking vital signs and documenting patient information
  • Confer with medical providers regarding patient tests and consults, and respond to patient communications in a timely manner
  • Prepare and maintain exam and treatment rooms, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment
  • Perform suture removals and assist with examinations and office procedures as needed
  • Verify patient information and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic patient record
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional certification, if applicable
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or GED and current certification
  • One year medical experience in a physician's office or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks with a diverse population
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Work Environment:

The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment. The position requires the ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks with a diverse population, including staff, physicians, clients, patients, insurance companies, and other members of the public on a regular basis.
