Join our team of dedicated professionals who are shaping the future of healthcare every day. We are seeking a full-time Inpatient Uni-Based Clinical Pharmacist, Float, to work at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP).
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares and dispenses medications using appropriate techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adheres to health system policies and procedures.
Provides timely and concise responses to drug information requests from healthcare providers and patients.
Ensures continuity of pharmaceutical care across acute and ambulatory patient-care settings.
Participates in the management of medical emergencies and assumes responsibility for adherence to medication-use policies and guidelines.
Manages time effectively to fulfill practice responsibilities and complies with accreditation, legal, regulatory, and safety requirements for the practice setting.
Credentials:
Current pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure (required).
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy (required).
PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency or 2 years of practice (preferred).
PGY-2 Pharmacy Practice Residency (preferred).
