About eBay:

At eBay, we are not just a leading force in global ecommerce; we are redefining the shopping and selling experience. Our platform empowers millions of buyers and sellers across more than 190 markets worldwide. We are dedicated to innovation and are making significant strides as we reshape the future of ecommerce.

Our Philosophy:

Our customers guide our decisions, and we foster an environment where authenticity flourishes. We welcome bold ideas and encourage everyone to express their individuality at work every day. Together, we are committed to sustaining the future for our customers, our organization, and our planet.

Position Overview:

Every day, millions of customers engage with eBay to discover and purchase products. We are focused on enhancing their shopping journey, and advertising plays a crucial and expanding role in that process. As part of a dynamic startup within eBay, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager to spearhead essential advertising products within the 'Performance Advertising' division. You will oversee the intelligence and user experience utilized by hundreds of thousands of advertisers managing substantial advertising budgets.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of key products that assist in 'identifying and acquiring' suitable advertisers while 'growing and retaining' their commitment to advertising.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, data scientists, data engineers, and business operations to create innovative cross-functional solutions that empower advertisers to develop, lead, and optimize campaigns at scale.
  • Establish metrics (e.g., KPIs) to monitor adoption, performance, and any deviations from objectives.
  • Work with dedicated engineering and machine learning partners, engaging with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Design, and Go-To-Market strategies to craft exceptional experiences.
  • Emphasize collaboration and interaction within the team and across functions.
  • Report directly to the Group Product Manager, who reports to the Head of Product for eBay Ads.

Your Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate possesses a remarkable ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a proven track record of drawing conclusions and presenting findings in an accessible manner.
  • At least 5 years of product management experience.
  • Experience in leading initiatives across cross-functional teams, establishing processes, and coordinating release timelines.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or similar roles.
  • This position offers a hybrid or on-site work arrangement.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role in California, Washington, or New York is anticipated to be between $135,200 and $205,700. Base pay may vary based on various individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional elements such as a target bonus and restricted stock units, along with a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits.

Equal Opportunity:

eBay is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
