Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Psychologist to join our team at GeorgiaGov. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision to behavioral health staff, conducting diagnostic evaluations, and ensuring that mental health clinical services are delivered in accordance with professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the mental health needs of youth
  • Provide clinical supervision to behavioral health staff to ensure they are providing high-quality care
  • Evaluate and monitor mental health clinical services to ensure they meet professional standards
  • Provide clinical treatment services to youth, including individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and psychoeducational programming
  • Provide consultation and/or crisis intervention for youth who present emergent issues that pose a potential risk to themselves or others
  • Provide clinical education, consultation, and leadership for staff who work in secure residential facilities

Requirements:

  • Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university
  • Current Georgia license to practice psychology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with justice-involved youth in residential treatment settings
  • Experience providing clinical supervision to treatment staff
  • Training and experience in trauma-focused interventions
