Mental Health Technician Job Summary

At Universal Health Services, we are committed to providing high-quality patient care and a supportive work environment. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of patients' treatment plans. This full-time opportunity offers 40 hours per week and full benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Escort patients to work, mealtime, outdoor/indoor recreation, smoke breaks (if applicable), and education activities, and participate in their supervision and instruction as needed.
Transport patients to and from medical appointments or other activities as directed.
Maintain safety and security of the facility through close observation and monitoring of the patients, maintaining optimal physical proximity, remaining alert at all times, and using analytical forethought to anticipate potentially volatile or unsafe situations and proactively intervene.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required
Must be 21+ years of age
Experience of 1+ year in behavioral health preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to successfully perform in a fast-paced work environment
