Your Role

As a Registered Nurse on our night shift team, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, supervising nursing assistants, and participating in facility surveys. Your primary goal will be to ensure the highest level of quality care and comfort for our patients.

  • Lead and support all functions related to quality care for our residents.
  • Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
  • Participate in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies.

You will also be required to complete processes and paperwork related to admission, transfer, and discharge of our residents, receive telephone orders from physicians, and record them on the Physicians Order Form. Additionally, you will need to transcribe physician's orders to resident charts, medication records, treatment/care plans, as required.

Chart nurse's notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the resident's response to the care.

Requirements
  • Must have a valid unencumbered nursing license.
  • Must have valid CPR/BLS certification or be willing to obtain during orientation.
  • Valid RN license in the state of TN.
