Staff Nurse Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Staff Nurse to join our team at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Job Summary

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, coordinating with the healthcare team, and promoting a safe and respectful environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements individualized plans of care based on comprehensive assessments and medical diagnoses.
  • Evaluates patient responses to interventions and outcomes of nursing care.
  • Utilizes evidence-based research to deliver professional nursing services.
  • Promotes effective communication and teamwork with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ensures the efficient allocation and use of resources to provide safe and timely patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN)
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in Tennessee
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday with rotating weekends

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
