Position Overview

Objective

To design and uphold financial models that deliver comprehensive business and financial insights to bolster organizational strategies, serving as a financial consultant to the Finance Leadership and operational divisions.

Core Responsibilities
  • Long-Term Planning (LTP) and Financial Forecasting
    • Construct and refine the financial model consistently, collaborating with diverse business units to collect data, perform sensitivity assessments, and generate reports and presentations.

    • Simulate various corporate strategic endeavors and integrate them into the LTP model.

    • Support the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
  • Commission Analysis
    • Aid in the evaluation and execution of commission structures.

    • Manage monthly commission expenditures and engage in various commission-related projects as needed.
  • Ad Hoc Financial Analysis
    • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to derive insights on strategic issues.

    • Investigate and present significant, impactful, and timely financial analyses to guide Finance Leadership and operational units in enhancing financial and operational performance.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions
    • Create financial models for integration and collaborate with various business functions to gather necessary inputs.

    • Assist in due diligence processes.

    • Engage with the operational teams of acquired entities to monitor performance.

    • Support budgeting and monthly forecasting for the acquired entities.
  • Reporting and Special Projects
    • Prepare various presentations and financial reports for stakeholders.

    • Participate in special projects as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA is preferred.
  • Over 9 years of progressive experience in Finance and financial modeling.
  • Experience in the software industry, particularly with SaaS business models, is essential.
  • Prior exposure to FP&A, Corporate Development, Strategic Planning, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting is advantageous.
  • Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience in shaping strategy and decision-making through analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning.
  • Ability to distill complex data sets into key business insights (storytelling).
  • Familiarity with systems, preferably Salesforce and NetSuite.
  • Strong emotional intelligence; capable of collaborating effectively with all organizational members and cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a holistic view and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Proactive and independent, with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
