Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral, addictive, and developmental disorders and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses using specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for patients, including psychotherapy, group, and family therapy as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and participate in multidisciplinary patient care conferences.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Supervise interns and assigned staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Behavioral Health or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of employment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based treatments for mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
