Delmar Center RN Supervisor Job Description

Delmar Center, a leading rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility, is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective nursing care plans to meet the unique needs of our residents
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and staff performance
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care and staff development
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New York
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation nursing
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and prescribing programs
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
