Delmar Center RN Supervisor Job Description

Delmar Center, a leading rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility, is seeking a highly skilled RN Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our nursing staff to deliver the highest quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the unique needs of our residents
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care and adherence to facility policies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and staff performance
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care delivery

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of New York
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide nursing staff
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and prescribing programs
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
