Delmar Center RN Supervisor Job Description

Delmar Center, a leading rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility, is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective nursing care plans to ensure the highest quality of life for our patients.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and staff performance.
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact patient care or staff morale.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of New York.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation nursing.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and prescribing programs.
