Family Support Specialist I

About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to providing essential services and programs to enhance the self-sufficiency of families, improve safety and permanency for children and vulnerable adults, and engage families and community partners in a collaborative decision-making process.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional services directly to the public, reviewing, monitoring, and determining eligibility for assistance programs.
- Utilize formal training to make eligibility determinations for various public assistance programs.
- Perform at the highest quality to ensure services to vulnerable citizens.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Completion of two years (54 semester hours) from a college or university.
- Administrative work, clerical office work, work dealing directly with the public, or experience in reviewing, monitoring, determining eligibility for, and/or administering public assistance programs.
