Doctors At Home House Calls Practice is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care within our unique mobile healthcare setting. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Intake: Gather comprehensive medical histories from patients and/or their families, accurately apply ICD-10 coding guidelines, confirm initial appointments, input patient data, and verify primary, secondary, and out-of-pocket insurance information.
  • Quality Measures & MIPS Data Collection: Collect, retrieve, and upload quality measure data to various Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Collaborate with providers to ensure the completeness of all required quality measures.
  • Patient Communication & Care Coordination: Answer and manage patient calls, families, and inquiries from other healthcare entities. Provide compassionate support and coordinate care effectively between patients, facilities, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with completing various forms as needed, including new patient paperwork, long-term care insurance requests, VA assistance documents, and Title XIX applications. Respond to record requests from other healthcare entities or patient/insurance company inquiries.
  • Practice Management Assistance: Provide support to the Practice Manager in various administrative tasks.
