As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Sunrise, you will play a crucial role in delivering direct care to residents while supervising the licensed team members in our skilled nursing facilities and other community areas as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • $2.00 shift differential for shifts worked from Friday to Monday
  • Part-Time position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
  • Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday; Week 2: Friday

Primary Duties:

  • Ensuring compliance with quality assurance and regulatory standards while promoting exceptional care and service
  • Coordinating the health and wellness needs of residents
  • Collaborating with family members and consulting with community physicians to provide personalized care for residents
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Current state licensure as a Practical Nurse/Vocational Nurse
  • Minimum of one year of experience in long-term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, or hospital settings
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods relevant to skilled nursing and resident care
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local long-term care regulations
  • Understanding of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and Care Plan Process
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competence in organizational and time management skills
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with a willingness to learn new applications
