About the Position

Community Knights, Inc. is seeking a reliable and responsible Transportation Services Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, a current driver's license, and safe transportation and car insurance (using their own vehicle). This position requires transporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to and from non-profit volunteer shifts and work sites, as well as volunteers to and from bingo fundraisers.

We offer competitive pay at $13-16 per hour, plus reimbursement for mileage (25 cents per mile). Exact hours worked will vary depending on volunteer and work site needs.

Responsibilities
  • Transport individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to and from non-profit volunteer shifts and work sites
  • Transport volunteers to and from bingo fundraisers
  • Document transportation routes and mileage on provided transportation logs

Occasionally, the Transportation Services Coordinator may have downtime between trips and be asked to make phone calls or perform basic data entry for our programs.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a current driver's license
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must have safe transportation and car insurance

Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required. New hires will attend a driver awareness training session upon hiring.

This is an hourly position with variable hours based on volunteer and work site needs. We offer competitive pay and reimbursement for mileage.
