The successful candidate will be responsible for independently generating accurate, dependable, and reproducible data within established timelines. Candidates should exhibit exceptional experimental precision and robust data interpretation capabilities, alongside a solid understanding of their core scientific discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine laboratory tasks autonomously while ensuring reliable and consistent outcomes.
- Perform High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) assays, including Reverse Phase, Anion Exchange, and Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC).
- Critically analyze results, identifying and documenting significant deviations.
- Troubleshoot experimental procedures and instrumentation issues.
- Acquire knowledge of and adapt to new experimental methodologies.
- Exhibit proficiency in various techniques and modify protocols as necessary to meet the evolving demands of research initiatives.
- Communicate interpreted results and project updates internally in a timely and professional manner.
- Contextualize data within the scientific literature by consulting and citing relevant sources.
- Comply with corporate standards regarding conduct, safety protocols, proper material handling, and GxP compliance.
- Conduct separation assays, including SEC, HPLC, Ion Exchange, Capillary Electrophoresis, and imaged Capillary Isoelectric Focusing (icIEF).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Chemistry, or a related field, typically requiring 3 years of experience, or a Master's Degree with equivalent education (no additional experience required).
- Theoretical and practical expertise in method development and qualification.
- Experience with separation-based assays, particularly UPLC/HPLC methods, Capillary Electrophoresis (CE), and imaged Capillary Isoelectric Focusing (icIEF).
