DIRECT REPORT: Community Manager
ROLE SUMMARY
The Resident Services Liaison plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service, emphasizing resident satisfaction, retention, and a positive living experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to):
- Exhibit a positive, professional demeanor towards team members, residents, vendors, clients, and the public.
- Assist residents with daily activities while fostering positive community relations.
- Contribute to enhancing community ORA scores and managing reputation effectively.
- Provide administrative support to the Leasing & Marketing Team Lead and Community Manager based on community needs.
- Manage inventory and procure necessary administrative supplies and equipment.
- Handle incoming customer service inquiries professionally as directed by management.
- Respond promptly and courteously to all resident and prospective resident inquiries, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing concerns.
- Serve as the primary contact for resident issues and dispute resolutions, following guidance from the Leasing & Marketing Team Lead and Community Manager.
- Assist in planning and executing resident events, promoting community engagement and enhancing resident experiences.
- Support the onsite team by collecting rent, deposits, and outstanding payments from residents, adhering to established protocols.
- Issue notices for late or non-payment, manage evictions, scan invoices, and process returned memos efficiently.
- Maintain and improve the tour route to create an inviting and welcoming community atmosphere.
- Develop and sustain comprehensive knowledge of the community, assisting with tours and other assigned tasks.
- Participate in lease audits when present at the community, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Pursue educational opportunities for personal and professional growth, enhancing skills and knowledge.
- Engage actively in Cardinal U training programs as required for professional development.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service and sales.
- Proficient computer skills, including typing, punctuation, grammar, and writing for correspondence and memos.
- Basic familiarity with Google platforms, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional customer service skills and keen attention to detail.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Core Values consistently.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing job duties, the Team Member is regularly required to use hands for typing, handling, or feeling, and to talk or hear. The Team Member must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver office products and supplies weighing up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Routine local travel may be necessary to assist properties as needed, attend training sessions, business meetings, or other situations essential for fulfilling daily responsibilities.
