Job Title: Operations and Administration Manager

About the Role:

The Center for Community Alternatives (CCA) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations and Administration Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Youth Services Department. This is a full-time position based in Brownsville, Brooklyn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff and interns.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures, including fire drills and regular facility checks.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of equipment, facilities, and supplies.
  • Manage the Youth Center Calendar and ensure smooth program operations.
  • Coordinate building maintenance, supervise facility maintenance staff, and ensure facilities are clean and well-maintained.
  • Ensure the space is welcoming, clean, and organized at all times.
  • Manage inventory, complete purchase orders, and coordinate ordering of supplies and equipment.
  • Support data tracking, database training, and reporting.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, special projects, and partner organization management.
  • Track attendance, special event data, and contact information for visitors.
  • Review and track program reports for compliance with funder requirements.
  • Draft monthly reports on youth center operations and develop a monthly Youth Center Newsletter.
  • Support program delivery, special events, and logistical issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit administration, business, youth development, social work, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in facility management, operations, and administration.
  • Experience working with youth in an educational or after-school setting is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills.
