Working Hours:

  • Evening; 8-hour shift
  • 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Monday to Friday; Rotating weekends and holidays

Role Responsibilities

As a CT Technologist, you will execute computerized tomography procedures at a proficient level, requiring minimal supervision. Your role will involve applying prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes, necessitating independent judgment and innovative thinking.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of human anatomy and pathology
  • Ability to differentiate between various medical procedures and diagnoses
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, prioritization, and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with medical and scientific terminology

Licensure and Certifications

Required:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • ARRT (RT) and ARRT (CT) licensure
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association
  • Illinois Emergency Management Agency Certification (IEMA)
  • Note for New Graduates: ARRT (CT) certification must be obtained within three months of employment.
