Job Title: Breast Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Breast Imaging Specialist to join our team at Loyola Medical Center. As a Breast Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

The Breast Imaging Specialist will work closely with our radiology team to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses. You will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical imaging protocols, educating staff on new procedures, and maintaining safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammography procedures with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Develop and implement clinical imaging protocols for the region
  • Train and educate staff on new procedures and techniques
  • Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with radiology leadership to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Mammography Program or equivalent training
  • 3-5 years of experience in mammography or related field
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) (R) (ARRT) certification
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (Mammography) ARRT (M) certification
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) American Heart Association (AHA) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry experience as a Mammography Application Specialist with a major medical equipment vendor
  • EPIC, PAC experience or equivalent
  • Excel proficiency
