Emergency Medical Technician

OBJECTIVE
The primary goal of this role is to deliver emergency medical assistance to both team members and guests as required. It is essential to ensure that all medical supplies and equipment are maintained in optimal condition, enabling rapid response to critical situations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond promptly to all medical assistance calls within the facility.
- Quickly evaluate life-threatening situations and administer Basic Life Support and advanced interventions as directed by the Medical Director.
- Conduct urinalysis and breath alcohol testing as necessary.
- Perform routine inventory checks and inspections of medical equipment.
- Offer basic health services to guests and staff.
- Participate in scheduled meetings as required.
- Assist in CPR and First Aid training sessions as directed by the Supervisor.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED; or an equivalent qualification.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- One of the following certifications is required:
- Washington State Emergency Medical Technician License/Certificate (Basic or higher)
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician Basic Certification
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide clear instructions and prepare necessary documentation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- At least one year of experience or training in emergency response, law enforcement, security, or a related field.
Skills and Competencies:
- Certification as a Basic Life Support instructor through the American Heart Association.
Note: The organization prioritizes hiring Native American candidates in accordance with the Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance. A Gaming License from the relevant commission is required, and pre-employment drug testing is mandatory for all roles. The use of marijuana does not disqualify candidates for most positions.
