Sales Representative

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling products and services offered by 84 Lumber to current and new clientele away from 84 Lumber stores and other locations. This role requires building and maintaining positive customer relationships, identifying new potential customers, and achieving predetermined sales goals at an acceptable margin.
Key Responsibilities- Build a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
- Communicate with customers and leads to understand their product or service needs and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
- Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
- Maintain customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management, resolving any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintain detailed reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Provide periodic territory sales forecasts.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
