As a Mail Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the Headquarters Administration Division, Support Services Department of the Naval Medical Command.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the receipt and distribution of a substantial volume of official mail.
- Manage the official mail operations within the command.
- Ensure compliance with mail classification standards and delivery requirements.
- Supervise the utilization of official government vehicles.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must meet suitability requirements for federal employment.
- Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory.
- New hires will be required to pass an employment verification check.
- Time-in-grade requirements must be satisfied by the closing date of this announcement.
- Retired military members must adhere to specific provisions regarding civilian employment.
- Males born after a certain date must be registered for Selective Service.
- Security clearance is required prior to entrance on duty.
- Relocation incentives may be available for eligible candidates.
- This position may require travel to various locations, including remote sites.
To qualify, candidates must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level, which includes:
- Leading operations within a Consolidated Mail Center and managing mail distribution.
- Handling the receipt and distribution of a significant volume of official mail for various Navy Medicine activities.
- Making independent decisions regarding mail classification and services.
This position is part of the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
